Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 25, 2017 at Resurrection Catholic Church in Eveleth. Celebrant will be Fr. Eamonn Boland. Visitation will be one hour before at the church. Burial will be in Eveleth Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Resurrection Catholic Church, Boys Town or St. Jude’s.

Adeline “Tiny” Marie Nemgar, 93, of Eveleth, passed away Monday, September 18, 2017, in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was born on June 2, 1924, in Eveleth to George and Theresa Adamec where she attended school and lived most of her life. She was united in marriage on June 28, 1947 to Tony J. Nemgar.

Adeline was a devoted wife and loving mother/grandmother. Her family was very important to her and she would spend hours baking and preparing for their visits. She never forgot a birthday, anniversary or special occasion. Adeline was known for her big heart and witty sense of humor. She loved gardening and was a fan of all Minnesota Sports teams, especially the Minnesota Twins. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her. Adeline spent more than 90 years in Eveleth before relocating to Nebraska to be closer to her family.

She is survived by a son, Tony (Anne) of West Des Moines, IA; a daughter, Susan Field of Lincoln, Neb.; grandchildren, Becky Knispel (Judd),Katie Long (Chris) and Ryan Field; 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony J. Nemgar; her parents, George and Theresa (Karisny) Adamec; her stepfather, John Dzubnar; her sisters, Margaret Gentile and Lori McGillan and her brother, Edmund Adamec.
